Welcome to our September 2024 newsletter.

Our focus this autumn is on an incredibly exciting day we’re hosting at Rich Mix in London. Our Inspiration Day, 11 November, is the pinnacle of DCD’s 50th Anniversary celebrations. It will bring together people from across the globe to discuss dancers’ career development and transition. We have an exceptional line-up of speakers and artists involved in the day, with many former dancers sharing their personal experiences. See below for further details, or the event webpage here.

Last month the 2024-25 Clore Fellows were announced. We are delighted to once again be supporting a Dance Fellow, together with The Linbury Trust. Annie Hanauer is a contemporary dance artist with an international reputation; we look forward to seeing the distinctive plans and ambitions she has for her Fellowship come to fruition. Click here to read more about the Fellows.

And finally… From 3-10 December we will be taking part in Big Give’s Christmas Challenge, the UK’s biggest collaborative fundraising campaign. Any charitable donations DCD receives during that week will be doubled by our match funders. More information to follow in the coming weeks...
